Job summary

Connex Education are recruiting experienced cover supervisors or degree-qualified individuals for secondary schools in the Ammanford and Llanelli area. These long-term roles start in September 2026 and run five days a week, providing essential support to teachers and pupils when staff are absent.

Cover supervisors will work across KS3 and KS4, providing updates to the teacher and helping pupils stay focused.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification or equivalent.
• DBS on Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• EWC registration (Welsh teaching council) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover across KS3 and KS4 in place of the subject teacher.
• Provide updates to the teacher and highlight both positive and negative behaviours.
• Adhere to school policies and build strong relationships with pupils and staff.

These roles are to commence in September 2026 and are longterm roles, 5 days per week.

Assignment details

As a cover supervisor you will be working across KS3 and KS4 in place of the subject teacher.
