The Independent Schools Council is seeking a communications professional to lead strategy development in collaboration with the Head and Senior Leadership Team, and to oversee the hands-on writing and delivery of key communications. The role requires absolute confidentiality, diplomacy, and exceptional organisational skills.

You must be an excellent communicator with experience in a communications function and a keen interest in working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Develop the school communications strategy with the Head and SLT.
• Oversee hands-on writing and delivery of key communications.
• Maintain confidentiality and use diplomacy in all dealings.
• Build strong relationships with staff, governors and the school community.
