Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is recruiting for a part-time Cleaning Supervisor at St Blane's Primary School in Blantyre, G72 9PT. The post combines cleaning duties with supervision of a small team and is temporary until 30 June 2027.

You will work Monday to Friday, 3pm–6pm (15 hours per week). Duties include cleaning floors and fixtures, monitoring standards to COSHH regulations and assisting with team training and recruitment as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Facility Assistants (Cleaning) and assist with training and recruitment.
• Carry out cleaning on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings and sanitary areas.
• Monitor cleaning standards to COSHH specification and report issues to management.
• Set up rooms for lets and act as on-site key-holder for security.
• Ensure building security and report health and safety issues.
