Job summary

Cirka UK is seeking a reliable, organised Cleaning Supervisor to lead our school cleaning team and ensure premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety. The successful candidate will supervise cleaning staff, coordinate daily cleaning activities and ensure all areas provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

Experience in a school or similar environment is essential.

• Experience in cleaning supervisory or team leader roles.
• Experience working in a school/educational setting is essential.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
• Sound knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment and health and safety procedures.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for supervising cleaning staff, coordinating daily cleaning activities and ensuring that all areas of the school provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous cleaning supervisory experience who takes pride in their work and enjoys leading a team.

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or team leader role.
• Experience working in a school, educational setting or similar environment (essential).
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to lead, motivate and support a team.
• A good understanding of cleaning methods, equipment and health and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of COSHH and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• A reliable, flexible and proactive approach to work.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
