Job summary

Neale-Wade Academy in March, Cambridgeshire is seeking a Cleaner to join the site team. This part-time, permanent role runs 12.5 hours across 40 weeks, Monday to Friday, helping maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will work as part of a supportive team, taking pride in high standards and contributing to the smooth running of the site. The role includes probation and access to Trust benefits.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across academy buildings, including classrooms, toilets and communal areas.
• Carry out routine and scheduled cleaning tasks, including specialist cleaning during academy closure periods.
• Prepare rooms and workspaces for daily use, meetings and school activities.
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies, safely store equipment and report low stock levels.
• Follow health and safety procedures, report hazards or equipment faults, and help maintain a safe environment for all site users.
