Job summary

Neale-Wade Academy in March, Cambridgeshire, is hiring a Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors. The role spans 12.5 hours per week across 40 weeks, on a part-time permanent basis, with ALT Grade B pay.

You will join a supportive site team, take pride in high standards of cleanliness, and help ensure smooth daily operations within the academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning roles preferred.
• Good attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver high standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across academy buildings, including classrooms, toilets and communal areas.
• Carry out routine and scheduled cleaning tasks, including specialist cleaning during academy closure periods.
• Prepare rooms and workspaces for daily use, meetings and school activities.
• Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies, safely store equipment and report low stock levels.
• Follow health and safety procedures, report hazards or equipment faults, and help maintain a safe environment for all site users.
