Job summary

Redhill Primary School, part of Shaw Education Trust, is seeking a reliable School Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

You will be responsible for cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas, sweeping, mopping and sanitising surfaces, and ensuring waste is disposed of safely. Training and ongoing support will be provided to promote high standards and staff wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning environments is preferred.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices and communal areas.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting surfaces and floors.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely.
• Cleaning and sanitising frequently touched surfaces.
• Replenishing cleaning materials and hygiene supplies as required.
• Following health and safety procedures and using cleaning products safely.
• Taking pride in maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming school environment.
