Job summary

Shaw Education Trust is hiring a School Cleaner for our primary school, dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors. You will clean classrooms, corridors and communal areas, handling waste and sanitising surfaces to ensure a welcoming learning space.

Qualifications

• Able to work as part of a School Cleaning team.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust surfaces and floors.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces.
• Replenish cleaning materials and hygiene supplies as required.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use cleaning products safely.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and welcoming school environment.
