Job summary

Shaw Education Trust is seeking a reliable School Cleaner for Redhill Primary School in Cannock. The role contributes to a clean, hygienic environment for pupils and staff, with duties including cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas.

The post is permanent, part-time (Grade 2 SCP 8-10, £25,220-£25,614 FTE), with start as soon as possible and closing date 6 November 2026. A strong commitment to health and safety is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in a school or similar environment is desirable.
• Ability to work as part of a team to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, offices and communal areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and dust surfaces and floors.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste safely.
• Clean and sanitise frequently touched surfaces and replenish supplies.
