eTeach UK Limited is seeking energetic and detail-oriented cleaners to join our team at a school site in Midsomer Norton. The role is part-time (15 hours per week during term time, Monday to Friday 3:30pm–6:30pm).

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, surfaces, toilets, restocking supplies, waste disposal, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for staff and pupils. This permanent, all-year-round position offers a pro rata salary of £10,384–£10,547 and includes benefits such as a

Permanent, all year round contract @ £13.28 per hour Salary range: £25,614 - £26,016

15 hrs per week (Actual salary pro rata range - £10,384 - £10,547) Term Time: Monday - Friday 3.30pm – 6.30pm School holiday hours can be completed anytime when the school is open - school opens from 7.00am-4.30pm (4.00pm on Fridays)

We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Cleaners to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the site. Your efforts will ensure that our spaces are hygienic, organised, and inviting for staff, students, and visitors alike. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, toilets, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
• Ensure all areas are sanitized according to health and safety standards
• Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and cleaning products to maintain operational readiness
• Handle waste disposal efficiently and responsibly in designated bins and recycling stations
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any malfunctions or damages promptly
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold high standards of hygiene
• To use all cleaning materials and equipment in a safe and proper manner in accordance with the instructions and procedures determined by the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership.
• Complete all appropriate records and documentation as required.
• Complete online training as required.
• To ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and security regulations.
• Carry out such other duties as are required, and as are commensurate with the grade of the post.

Requirements

• Prior commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as sweeping, mopping, lifting, and bending
• Nice-to-have skills include experience in hotel housekeeping, commercial cleaning, or related fields such as cooking or customer service that demonstrate reliability and service orientation
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for collaborating with team members and supporting a welcoming environment
