Job summary

Empowering Learning Group in Middlesbrough is seeking a part-time School Cleaner to maintain clean, safe spaces in our partner schools. Hours are 3:00pm–6:00pm Monday to Friday, with occasional variation to fit school requirements.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. An Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one, plus references covering the last two years, are required.

Qualifications

• Have previous professional cleaning experience.
• Eye for detail and take real pride in your work.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Have reliable transport to travel to schools in and around Middlesbrough.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service, or willing to purchase one.
• Provide professional references covering the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise classrooms, corridors and wash areas to high standards.
• Maintain safe and welcoming environments for pupils and staff.
