The Education Specialists in Liverpool is hiring a reliable School Cleaner for afternoons 3pm–6pm, Monday to Friday. This part-time, ongoing role supports daily cleaning across schools and maintains high hygiene standards.

A positive, dependable candidate who can work with a team, handle duties from sweeping and dusting to sanitising toilets and replenishing supplies will fit well. Enhanced DBS required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Dusting and wiping desks, tables, and surfaces.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste properly.
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, sinks, and changing areas.
• Replenishing supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and staff rooms.
• Following health and safety and infection control procedures.

Cleaner role requirements

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and wiping desks, tables, and surfaces
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste properly
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, sinks, and changing areas
• Replenishing supplies like soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and staff rooms

Additional tasks

• Cleaning windows, doors, and glass panels
• Maintaining hygiene in dining areas or halls
• Reporting any damage, hazards, or maintenance issues
