Job summary

Empowering Learning Group is recruiting experienced School Cleaners to support a range of schools in and around Saltburn. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils and staff, with consistent weekday hours.

The role requires an Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one, reliable transport to travel between sites, and professional references covering the last two years. Hours may vary to meet school requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in a professional setting.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in work.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel to schools in and around Thirsk.
• Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate on the Update Service or willing to purchase one.
• Provide professional references covering the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain school spaces to high standards.
• Follow school policies and health and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues and replenish supplies as needed.
