Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Chef at Orchard Primary School to deliver nutritionally balanced, tasty meals for pupils and staff. This term-time only role operates Monday to Friday with no weekends, offering flexibility and predictable scheduling.

You will prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards, follow Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures, manage inventories and budgets, and support the location's day-to-day running.

Qualifications

• Level 2 catering is desirable or experience in a similar position.
• Enhanced DBS check will be obtained for this role.
• Term-time only role with no weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure Food Safety and Health & Safety procedures are followed and paperwork completed accurately.
• Enhance Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers.
• Support the location's day-to-day running, including inventories and budget monitoring.
