Job summary

Belvedere Academy, Liverpool is seeking a dedicated School Chef to join our catering team. The role supports the Catering Manager and Sous Chef, preparing nutritious meals for staff and students in line with current regulations.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm (37.5 hours), term time plus 5 days. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our high standards and engage with a diverse school community.

Qualifications

• Well-qualified and enthusiastic person to join our catering team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare well-balanced nutritious meals in line with current regulations.
• Assist with creative menu planning.
• Take deliveries of food and non-food items.
• Deal with associated paperwork.
• Provide direction to the wider catering team as required.
