Job summary

Bury Council is seeking a Unit Supervisor to join the catering service in a supervisory capacity. The role pays 13.92 per hour and requires NVQ Level 1/2 in Food Production and Cookery or an equivalent qualification, with experience in catering and leadership responsibilities.

You will communicate effectively, motivate the team, and build strong working relationships with school staff and management while contributing to service improvements and staff development.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Food Production and Cookery or an equivalent qualification in Food Preparation and Cooking.
• Experience in catering services with supervisory responsibilities or readiness to step up to a supervisory role.
• Ability to communicate effectively, motivate staff and lead the team.
