Bury Council is seeking a Deputy Catering Manager to lead the school catering service across sites in Greater Manchester. You will oversee day-to-day operations, maintain high standards of food safety, and support training and staff development.

The role requires supervisory experience in catering, effective communication, and the ability to build strong relationships with school partners. NVQ levels 1 and 2 in Food Production and Cookery or equivalent are required, along with Basic Food Safety.

• Experience in catering services at supervisory level or ready to step up.
• Able to communicate effectively, motivate and lead the team.
• Develop and improve relationships with Head Teacher, Business Manager and school team.
