Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a full-time basis (35 hours per week). You will ensure kitchens and service counters run smoothly and deliver exceptional food experiences across education sites.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years in catering, proven team leadership, and a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated with a desire to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable service
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
• Liaise between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations
• Train and support teams to excel in their roles
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards across teams
