Job summary

Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the academy's catering facilities at Shireland Collegiate Academy. The post is 37 hours per week, term time plus 3 weeks, with a salary band of £32,578–£37,563.

You will develop a varied lunchtime menu, supervise staff in a high‑volume environment, and ensure high standards of food safety, value for money and service for students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in a high-volume catering environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage catering facilities to provide value-for-money meals.
• Create a new and varied menu for lunchtime experience.
• Support Extended School activities, academy events and meetings with catering.
• Strive for continual improvement of food quality and service.
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene, Health and Safety, COSHH and risk management.
