Job summary

Caterlink is hiring a Catering Manager for Shrivenham Primary School. This term-time role offers 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with no weekends, at a rate of £15.00 per hour.

You will lead food preparation and presentation to required standards, ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety compliance, manage daily site operations, inventories and budgets, and act as the main client contact to drive improvements and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards
• Ensure the location meets Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures
• Ensure Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service with the client and customers and exceed expectations
• Be responsible for the day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams including managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
• Be the main point of contact for our client in your school ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are recommended and implemented
• Communicate regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets to ensure these are achieved
• Support and train our teams, leading from the front to ensure everyone can excel and that training is completed and performance is managed
