Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is seeking a Catering Manager to lead the academy’s catering facilities in Smethwick. You will deliver value-for-money meals for students, staff and visitors and develop varied menus to enhance lunchtime experiences.

The role requires managing a team in a high-volume catering environment while ensuring compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and risk management standards. It is a permanent, full-time position with 37 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Experience of working in a high-volume catering environment managing a team of staff.
• Ability to create varied menus and supervise catering provision.
• Commitment to food hygiene, Health and Safety and risk management.

Aufgaben

• Provide management of the catering facilities within the Academy to provide students, staff and visitors with value for money meals of a high standard.
• Create a new and varied menu which will enhance the lunchtime experience of all our students.
• Providing catering to support Extended School activities, Academy events and meetings.
• To strive for the continual improvement of the quality of food and service.
• To ensure compliance with the requirements of food hygiene regulations, Health and Safety, COSH regulations and risk management.
