Job summary

The Catering Manager role at Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust requires experienced leadership in a high-volume catering environment to serve students, staff and visitors with quality, value-for-money meals.

You will create diverse menus, support Extended School activities and events, ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety regulations, and lead a team to deliver excellent service across the academy campuses.

The postholder will:

• Provide management of the catering facilities within the Academy to provide students, staff and visitors with value for money meals of a high standard.


• Create a new and varied menu which will enhance and the lunchtime experience of all our students.


• Providing catering to support Extended School activities, Academy events and meetings.


• To strive for the continual improvement of the quality of food and service.


• To ensure compliance with the requirements of food hygiene regulations, Health and Safety, COSH regulations and risk management.

Applicants must have experience of working in a high-volume catering environment managing a team of staff.
