Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Manager for Mountfield's Lodge in Loughborough. The role is term-time only, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 190 days per year, with no weekend work.

You will lead food preparation to Caterlink and client standards, ensure Health and Safety and food safety compliance, manage daily operations, supervise staff, monitor KPIs and budgets, and support team training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present food to Caterlink and client standards.
• Ensure location meets Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
• Maintain Caterlink's reputation for excellent food and service and exceed client expectations.
• Be responsible for day-to-day running of the location and supervising teams including inventories, budgets and action plans.
• Main point of contact for the client in school, implementing adjustments and improvements.
• Communicate with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets.
