Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd in Mansfield is seeking a Chef Manager to take full operational and financial responsibility for your school\'s catering facility, leading a kitchen team and delivering high-quality food and service.

The role offers term-time hours, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week across 38 weeks a year, with a pay rate of £15.00–£15.50 per hour and opportunities for apprenticeship and training through our Learning & Development team. DBS disclosure may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in GP management and driving sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team coaching abilities.
• Commitment to high quality food and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Financial control: manage stock, food and labour costs.
• Lead and develop kitchen team to deliver excellence.
• Oversee menu development and run monthly promotions.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and audits.
