The City Academy Bristol is seeking a passionate Chef to join our catering team, delivering great, nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors. You will focus on food preparation, menu planning, stock management and service, while upholding high standards of taste, quality and safety.

This role emphasizes a healthy work-life balance with no regular evening or weekend shifts, allowing you to pursue your culinary passion while maintaining family time.

Formación

• Understanding of working conditions in a busy kitchen.
• Knowledge of healthy eating and dietary requirements and manual handling.
• Knowledge of regulations relating to safe and hygienic practices (food hygiene and COSHH).
• First aid qualifications or willingness to undertake training.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare high-quality, nutritious meals for students, staff and visitors.
• Assist with menu planning, stock management and food service.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen and COSHH regulations.
• Support breakfast and lunch services, internal events and stock control.
• Assist with menu costings and maintaining kitchen equipment.
