Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd in Brighton is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen, handling basic food preparation and delivering friendly service during the lunch rush.

You’ll work Monday to Friday during term time, around 10 hours a week, with 38 weeks per year, and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. The role is permanent, with training provided and opportunities for development within our growing education catering team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Willing to train in-house.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work term-time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate tills during service and assist customers.
• Provide friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assist team with basic food preparation.
• Maintain a safe, clean kitchen and comply with health and safety standards.
