Job summary

Aspens Services, a market-leading school catering provider, is hiring an Area Catering Assistant in Bromley to support kitchens across the area with basic food prep and outstanding service during the lunchtime rush.

You will work 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks a year, at £12.71 per hour, with training provided for Food Hygiene Level 2 and driving duties. DBS disclosure will be sought.

Qualifications

• You’re a team player and thrive as part of a busy team.
• Previous catering or fast-paced service experience is preferred.
• You hold a full UK driving licence.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is great, but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Working on the tills during service (training provided).
• Providing friendly, polite customer service to all students and staff.
• Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Ensuring a safe, clean kitchen environment and compliance with Health and Safety.
