Job summary

Aspens Services is a market-leading contract caterer specialising in school food. We create great food experiences that fuel young minds and are looking for an Area Catering Assistant to support kitchens in your area, preparing food and delivering excellent service during the lunchtime rush.

You’ll be making a real difference by interacting with customers, providing frontline service to students and staff, and helping with basic food preparation while maintaining a safe, clean kitchen

Qualifications

• Team player and thrive as part of a busy team.
• Catering or fast-paced service experience.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred, training provided.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Working on the tills during service (training provided).
• Front-line service to students and staff.
• Assisting the team with basic food preparation.
• Maintaining a safe, clean kitchen and Health & Safety compliance.
