Job summary

Berkeley Scott in Rugby is seeking a School Catering Assistant to support a school kitchen and ensure smooth meal service for pupils and staff. The role involves helping with food prep, serving, cleaning and adhering to hygiene and allergen procedures.

Ideal candidates will have catering or kitchen porter experience, an Enhanced DBS, and a flexible, reliable approach. Driving licence is a bonus as occasional travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant or Kitchen Porter.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check.
• A driving licence is beneficial but not essential, as occasional travel to other locations may be required by the client.
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• Food Allergen Awareness certificate, or willingness to obtain.
• A reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
• The ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions.

Berkeley Scott is currently recruiting for a School Catering Assistant in Rugby. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous catering or kitchen porter experience who is looking for regular, weekday work within a school environment.
