Berkeley Scott Limited is recruiting Catering Assistants in Stafford for temporary school catering work. You will support daily running of school kitchens, assist with basic food preparation, serving meals, washing up and keeping areas clean.

Successful candidates are dependable, enthusiastic and team players, with a willingness to learn regardless of prior experience. We offer immediate starts, regular shifts and weekly pay, with holiday pay included.

Qualifications

• DBS check required for school-based assignments.
• Two references.
• Food Safety Level 2 certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Food Allergen Awareness certification, or willingness to obtain it.
• Reliable and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to work well within a team.
• Previous experience as Catering Assistant or Kitchen Assistant is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Basic food preparation.
• Serve meals during breakfast or lunch services.
• Assist kitchen team during busy periods.
• Wash dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Clean and maintain kitchen and service areas.
• Follow food hygiene, allergen and health and safety guidelines.
• Help ensure the kitchen runs efficiently throughout the day.

Berkeley Scott is recruiting Catering Assistants in Stafford for temporary school catering work. The role involves supporting the daily running of school kitchens, including basic food preparation, serving meals, washing up and keeping work areas clean and tidy. Successful candidates will be dependable, enthusiastic and comfortable working as part of a team, with a willingness to learn for those without prior experience.

Pay ranges from £12.71 to £14.00 per hour depending on experience and assignment, with weekly pay and holiday pay included. Immediate starts are available, and regular shifts are offered.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• An Enhanced DBS check, which is required for school-based assignments
• Two references
• Food Safety Level 2 certification, or a willingness to obtain it
• Food Allergen Awareness certification, or a willingness to obtain it

• The ability to work well within a team
• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant or Kitchen Porter is beneficial but not essential.
