Key duties include opening/closing the site, performing maintenance, ensuring health & safety standards, monitoring security, and assisting with room setups for events.

Qualifications

• Previous caretaker, site assistant, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and health & safety.
• Practical, hands-on approach with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Right to work in the UK (UK resident/eligible).

Responsibilities

• Opening and closing the school site daily.
• Carrying out general maintenance, repairs, and DIY tasks.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are met across the premises.
• Monitoring site security, including alarms and access control.
• Assisting with setting up rooms for events and activities.
• Liaising with external contractors when required.
