St Francis CE Primary School in Chandler's Ford seeks a resourceful and flexible Caretaker to join our friendly support team. This is a job share with another experienced Caretaker, aimed at keeping the school premises safe, clean and well maintained.

Your duties include unlocking the site, routine maintenance and grounds work, overseeing works with Hampshire CC contractors, and carrying out regular health and safety checks such as legionella testing and fire alarm testing.

Responsibilities

• Unlocking the site at start of the day and ensuring doors, windows and alarms are secure.
• Carrying out routine maintenance and grounds work (painting, sweeping, minor repairs).
• Coordinating with Hampshire CC contractors on larger repair and project work.
• Carrying out regular health and safety checks (e.g., legionella testing, fire alarm testing).
