Job summary

You will carry out caretaking, minor repairs, opening/closing, monitor access, set up rooms for events, and ensure health and safety compliance while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.

Responsibilities

• Ensure premises and grounds are safe, secure and orderly.
• Remove waste from bins.
• Carry out routine caretaking and minor repairs.
• Open/close procedures for premises.
• Monitor access and report unauthorised access.
• Set up/clear rooms for activities and events.
• Regularly check premises and report issues.
• Maintain a safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
• Follow health and safety procedures and statutory requirements.
• Use equipment safely and appropriately.
• Undertake other duties as required.
