Job summary

Outcomes First Group’s Longdon Park School is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to maintain a safe, welcoming environment for students aged 7–18 with complex needs. You will perform site upkeep, repairs and safety checks, helping to run a secure, well-organised learning space across two specialist sites.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on maintenance experience, a proactive attitude, and a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, caretaking, building services or DIY tasks.
• Ability to work independently and be proactive.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Full driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the school site, buildings and grounds to a high standard.
• Carry out repairs, maintenance and general DIY tasks.
• Complete health & safety checks and support site compliance.
• Open, secure and monitor the school premises.
• Support site improvement and development projects.
• Ensure learning environments remain safe, clean and ready for each day.
