Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a School Caretaker in Wolverhampton for temporary assignments with hours from 7:00 to 18:00. Some roles may be split such as 7–10 and 3–6.

Responsibilities include securing school grounds, maintenance and repairs, health and safety, general upkeep, cleaning and event support. Right to work documents and an enhanced DBS processed by Aspire People will be required, at a cost of £56 if not on the Update Service.

Qualifications

• Experience as caretaker/site manager preferred.
• Plumbing, carpentry or painting experience in a similar sector also considered.
• Willing to work on a temporary basis from 7am to 6pm.

Are you school Caretaker looking for a new role?

It is ADVANTAGEOUS that applicants have some caretaker/site manager experience. However, applicants with plumbing/carpentry/painting experience in a similar sector will also be considered.

You MUST BE willing to work on a TEMPORARY basis and between the hours of 7-6pm.

Some roles within schools will be 7-6 all day but, some may be split shifts as well such as 7-10am and then 3-6pm.

As a School Caretaker your day to day responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Security of the school grounds
• Maintenance and repairs
• Health and Safety
• General upkeep and cleaning
• Event support

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO FULLY REGISTER WITH US INCLUDING PROVIDING RIGHT TO WORK DOCUMENTS ALONG WITH OBTAINING AN ENHANCED CHILD WORKFORCE DBS THAT WILL BE PROCESSED BY US BUT COME AT A COST OF £56 (UNLESS YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE REGISTERED ON THE UPDATE SERVICE).
