Mitie is hiring a part-time Cleaner to support Prestwick Academy in Prestwick, Scotland. The role involves maintaining clean and safe school premises, handling porterage tasks, and assisting with room setups.

Training will be provided in Mitie policies, materials, and safety standards. The candidate should be reliable and professional, able to work independently or as part of a team, and willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check as part of safeguarding commitments.

Responsabilités

• Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.
