Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a School Caretaker at Boldon School in Boldon Colliery, Tyne and Wear. This permanent, full-time role offers 37 hours per week with early, middle, and late shift patterns and an hourly rate of £13.88.

You will follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies, maintain equipment, secure the premises, respond to helpdesk requests, and perform planned maintenance. DBS clearance will be required; previous caretaking experience is preferred but not

• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.
