Mitie Group plc. in Wallsend is seeking a School Caretaker to deliver excellent service standards in a school setting, ensuring buildings are clean, safe, and well maintained while following cleaning schedules and SLA agreements.

Working 20 hours per week on a part-time basis, you will be responsible for training, securing premises, responding to helpdesk requests, and carrying out porterage and room setups, with an enhanced DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all required training and follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand all cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.

Rate of pay: £13.35per hour
Position Type: Permanent
Employment Type: Part Time
Total Weekly Contractual Hours: 20hours
Location: Kajima, St Peters Road, Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, England, NE28 7LQ
Important : Plus must cover with sickness and holidays but only Monday to Friday
