Mitie Group plc. is seeking a School Caretaker to deliver high service standards at a school site in Ashford, Kent. The role includes maintaining facilities, ensuring security and safety, and performing planned and reactive tasks in line with cleaning schedules.

You will follow Mitie policies, support out-of-hours use, and participate in essential safety checks. DBS check is required; previous caretaking experience is preferred but not essential.

• Follow Mitie's Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental policies.
• Maintain equipment in clean, safe working order and understand cleaning materials and chemicals used.
• Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, security, and safety of school premises and grounds.
• Respond to helpdesk jobs, unlock/lock buildings, and carry out porterage and room setups.
• Perform PPM tasks including fire alarm tests, emergency light checks, and support out-of-hours building use.

Role Responsibilities:
