Job summary

Sabp invites qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) or Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) to join a Surrey school-based MHST. You will deliver brief outcome-focused CBT interventions for children and young people in schools and community locations.

The post involves managing a caseload, holistic mental health assessments, and working with Primary Mental Health Workers, CAMHS, schools and GPs to support wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualified Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP).
• Experience delivering CBT-based mental health interventions in school settings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with CAMHS, GPs, schools and families.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload and provide mental healthcare services to children and young people.
• Conduct holistic assessments of mental health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with Primary Mental Health Workers, CAMHS, schools and GPs.
• Deliver high-quality, brief outcome-focused CBT interventions in groups and 1:1.
• Co-produce and deliver whole-school approaches with school partners.
