Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting four Education or Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners (EMHP or CWP) to join THEWS. The role focuses on delivering early mental health interventions to children and young people with mild-to-moderate difficulties and supporting schools with whole-school approaches.

The post holder will work within the Tower Hamlets CAMHS framework, applying evidence-based practices and liaising with partners to ensure timely support for CYP and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild-to-moderate mental health problems.
• Support the senior CAMHS lead to introduce or develop the whole school/college approach.
• Liaise with supervisors to agree appropriate signposting and referrals for children and young people.
