Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) or Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) for our Aldershot MHST. The role involves delivering brief CBT interventions in schools and community settings to support children and young people with mental health difficulties.

The post holder will work within an MHST, manage a caseload, and collaborate with Primary Mental Health Workers, CAMHS, schools, and GPs to deliver early intervention

Qualifications

• Diploma holders eligible to register with BABCP.
• Role involves delivering brief outcome-focused CBT.
• Work in schools and community locations, with collaboration across services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of children and young people with mental health difficulties.
• Conduct holistic mental health assessments.
• Liaise with Primary Mental Health Workers, CAMHS, Schools and GPs.
• Provide brief outcome-focused CBT interventions to individuals, workshops and groups.
• Co-produce and deliver whole school approaches with schools and provide professional consultation.
