Job summary

CNWL NHS Foundation Trust in Milton Keynes is recruiting qualified Mental Health Practitioners to join the MHST. You will deliver low-intensity CBT-based interventions for CYP with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, or behavioral issues, in school settings, with supervision and multidisciplinary teamwork.

The role requires registration as an EMHP/CWP, or a mental health professional with postgrad CBT experience in youth services.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered Education Mental Health Practitioner (EMHP) or CWP; or registered Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker with relevant experience.
• Experience delivering evidence-based CBT for mild to moderate issues to children and young people (CYP) in school or related settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver low intensity mental health interventions in schools and colleges for CYP with mild/moderate anxiety or depression.
• Undertake assessments and work closely with school staff to foster whole-school wellbeing approaches.
• Receive clinical supervision and contribute to a team delivering MHST services in MK.
