Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Stafford is seeking two Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) to support schools in delivering mental health and wellbeing interventions. The role involves assessments, risk management, and collaborative planning with educators, families and CYPs within the CAMHS framework.

Successful EMHP training, teaching qualification and YMHFA are essential. The post includes a 5% welcome bonus of the first year’s salary; visa sponsorship is not available.

Formación

• Successful completion of the HEE commissioned EMHP course.
• Teaching qualification is required.
• Youth Mental Health First Aid training completed.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and deliver outcome-focused, evidence-based interventions in educational settings for children and young people.
• Work with children, young people, families and educators to develop intervention plans and outcomes.
• Support children, young people and families to make informed choices about interventions.
• Operate from an inclusive values base, respecting diversity.
• Accept referrals within educational settings per local and national protocols.
• Undertake and record risk assessments and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Adhere to HR policies, training requirements and referral protocols; signpost complex cases.
