Job summary

School-Home Support is seeking a SHS Family Support Practitioner (School-Based) based at Ashmount Primary School, London. This part-time role runs 2 days per week during term time plus inset days, with a salary in the 9,372–10,431 per annum range.

The position focuses on casework to improve attendance, punctuality and engagement in learning within the school community. You will work closely with school staff to deliver targeted family support, build strong relationships with parents and carers,

Qualifications

• working in an education setting or similar to improve a child’s school attendance and engagement in learning
• working and engaging with parents/carers, children or individuals through individual and/or group-based support
• factors affecting a child’s capacity to learn
• working with families from diverse communities
• holistic family support
• safeguarding processes and referral routes for safeguarding children
