Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a Scheme Manager in Stockport to drive a seamless resident journey from first contact to settling into our community. The role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a starting salary of £17,601 per year and progression after 12 months.

You will promote resident involvement, maintain wellbeing and independence, and ensure housing services meet regulatory standards. A full driving licence is essential due to travel requirements across schemes.

Qualifications

  • Numeracy and literacy to the equivalent of GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.
  • Strong Interpersonal and organisational Skills with fantastic attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills across all mediums including face to face, written and digital.
  • Empathetic with a customer focus.
  • Ability to build strong communities through customer stakeholder and partnership engagement.
  • Previous experience dealing with conflict resolution.
  • Travel is a requirement of the role, therefore a full valid driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Promote resident involvement and provide information on local community services and agencies.
  • Encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence through high quality, safe housing support services.
  • Meet regulatory requirements for housing services to ensure clean and safe homes for customers.
  • Effectively manage relationships with stakeholders, service providers including contractors and residents.

We have an opportunity for a Scheme Manager to join our team in Stockport. In this role you will act as the driving force on our customer journey creating a seamless and welcoming experience from first contact to settling into our vibrant community in South Manchester.

The role of Scheme Manager will include:
  • Promote resident involvement and provide information on local community services and agencies
  • Encourage residents to maintain their well-being and independence through the effective delivery of high quality, safe and value for money housing support services
  • Meet all legislative and regulatory requirements for housing services activities to ensure clean and safe homes for the Group’s customers
  • Effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, service providers including contractors and residents
  • Coordinate the delivery of local services to ensure the scheme(s) are maintained and kept clean and secure, in accordance with Group standards and lease obligations
