The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a Planner to join the System and Scheduling Team on a fixed-term five-month contract. You will allocate appointments for unallocated works orders, re‑appoint incomplete orders, and actively monitor the diary of operatives to ensure daily progress.

Applicants should have a customer‑centred approach, strong organisational and IT skills, and knowledge of planning ordering and scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• Customer‑oriented approach required.
• Good knowledge of the construction industry and materials.
• Excellent organisational, communication and negotiating skills.
• Excellent IT skills and experience of planning, ordering and scheduling systems.

Responsabilités

• Allocate appointments for unallocated works orders and re‑appoint incomplete orders.
• Actively monitor and manage the diary of trade operatives to ensure work is picked up and progressed.
• Record unavailability and reallocate work as appropriate.
• Assess resource availability against appointment demand and deliver daily programmes within timescales.
