Job summary

Servara Ltd in North Devon is seeking a proactive Scheduling Administrator to join a busy expanding team. You will coordinate maintenance works, manage engineers schedules, and ensure customers receive excellent service from first contact through to job completion.

The ideal candidate has scheduling or coordination experience, strong IT and Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a Monday–Friday pattern, pension and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Previous scheduling, planning or coordination experience.
  • Experience in maintenance, social housing, construction, facilities management or engineering sectors is advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate reactive and planned maintenance works.
  • Manage engineers diaries to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Liaise with customers, tenants, operatives, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prioritise emergency and urgent repairs appropriately.
  • Raise and update work orders accurately within internal systems.
  • Monitor job progress and proactively resolve scheduling issues.
  • Ensure service level agreements and client expectations are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate records and update job information as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all stages of the repairs process.
  • Support the wider operations team with administrative and coordination tasks.

Scheduling Administrator
North Devon £28,000 - £30,000 DOE + Benefits

Servara Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well established maintenance contractor operating across the South West.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Scheduling Administrator to join a busy and growing team in North Devon. This is a fast paced role where you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance works, managing engineers schedules, and ensuring customers receive an excellent service from initial contact through to job completion.

The successful candidate will have previous scheduling, planning or coordination experience and enjoy working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Duties for the Scheduling Administrator:
  • Schedule and coordinate reactive and planned maintenance works.
  • Manage engineers diaries to maximise productivity and efficiency.
  • Liaise with customers, tenants, operatives, suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Prioritise emergency and urgent repairs appropriately.

  • Previous experience in a Scheduler, Planner, Coordinator or similar position.
  • Experience within maintenance, social housing, construction, facilities management or engineering sectors would be advantageous.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using scheduling or job management software would be beneficial.
  • Positive attitude with strong attention to detail.
