Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a Scheduler to join our maintenance team on a temporary 3-6 month contract with potential extension or permanent appointment. Based at ME14 5LH, the role involves coordinating works orders, allocating repairs to operatives and subcontractors, and ensuring timely delivery.

You will use the in-house appointments system, update IT systems and PDAs, and monitor job status daily to meet target times.

Qualifications

• Experience of scheduling work within a maintenance environment.
• Experience of delivering a front-line, customer-focused service.
• Experience of working within a housing management or maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Schedule works orders through the in-house appointments system.

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Southern Housing who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience

We are looking for a Scheduler this role will be based at: ME14 5LH

Responsibilities

• To ensure that works orders are scheduled through the In-house appointments system, repairs works are allocated to trade operatives, and all works are carried out with minimal average turnaround time.
• To plan and schedule the responsive repair works to be carried out by the operatives and sub-contract resource.
• Ensure IT systems are operated effectively, operatives are using and updating their PDAs appropriately and schedule of rate codes are inputted correctly.
• To ensure repairs are monitored and updated on an ongoing basis in relation to job status, including jobs raised booked within target time, cancelled works orders, repairs without appointments, overdue jobs and all follow on jobs are actioned by the end of each day.
