Job summary

Dexory is scaling quickly and seeks a Management Accountant to own end-to-end finance, from ledgers to month-end, VAT and audit. You’ll collaborate across teams and drive improvements, mentoring juniors as we grow. This role requires minimum 3 days per week onsite at our Wallingford facility.

You’ll manage payables, reconciliations, and assist with VAT returns and audits, using AI tools to make processes smarter, while maintaining accuracy and fast turnaround.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Hands-on month-end/year-end close and VAT experience.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software experience.
• Proactive ownership mindset and ability to prioritise.
• Clear communication and collaborative approach.
• Curiosity about using AI/LLMs in finance.
• Scale-up experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own accounts payable, payment runs and supplier relationships, keeping everything accurate, well coded and on time.
• Run bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve issues independently.
• Play a key part in month-end and year-end close.
• Support VAT returns, statutory filings and audit.
• Spot faster/smarter processes and lead change, including using AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members and help build a strong finance team as we scale.
